Hello loves!
I just wanted to share what a roller coaster ride I've been through in the past year with regards to my face! Yes, I unfortunately relied too much on beauty reviews on facial products and began trying on various facial washes, oils, moisturizers, toners, scrubs, and home remedies! I screwed up BIG TIME.
In just 4 months time, zits became a permanent occupant of my cheeks and forehead! Yes, it's that AWFUL! Though I had a lot of time regretting everything, I know I had to move on. And so I did.
Now, I realized that VANITY is not in my destiny. I am not born to become vain. I should have accepted my blemishes, uneven skin tone, occasional dry skin, and emphasized oily face. Though my face isn't perfect, I wasn't really a victim of acne back then. However, because of my desire to clear out the blemish, even out the skin tone, and keep my face more presentable and pleasant looking, I made a mistake that permanently made acne and me inseparable.
Lesson learned and I learned it the hard way. I was born and raised simply and without any trace of vanity. I should have stood by that upbringing. Had I known, I should have not tried experimenting.
Oh well, the past has gone and could never return again. So I'm staying away from anything that's vain. That's not important anymore as long as I have a good hygiene and I look, smell, and feel clean!
So embrace yourself and don't let commercialism ruin your perfect face! Stay pretty and happy! :)
